I hope you have realized how much music you can make with just one lick. No matter how good you get it's important to keep exploring and adapting licks in this way. And if you get really good at this, you don't need to know a lot. The old blues guys didn't know a lot of licks or a lot of notes, they were just really creative with the ones they knew!
