Hopefully you're warmed up by now, cause this next exercise is also quite a workout. Some people use this sequence as a basis for licks, but for most people in a blues context, it's merely an exercise meant to improve your right and left hand technique as well as make you really comfortable with the blues scale. First I'll show you the basic idea, and then we'll run through an exercise together.
