Description

The use of a capo was very much popularized by blues players such as Muddy Waters and Albert Collins. Adding this to your instrument allows you the ability to play your open position blues licks in any key. Wherever the capo is, that is the key of the blues you are playing in. In this example we are going to play some licks that can be used over the I, IV, and V chords in a our 12 Bar Blues progression. Let's take a look and see how you can use this technique for yourself.
