Albert King also sang while playing the blues. In between his vocal phrases he had a wealth of great licks that he would play while he wasn't singing. In this example we are going to take a look at two different licks that Albert King might play in this scenario. It is encouraged that you use this idea on your own while playing with a vocalist. Hi Guys I Love this site been on here almost a year and a half having a blast my question is i can play these licks ok i think Anders is teaching I have to do a lot of pausing the videos how well do I need to play theses before moving on to the next lesson. Thanks

Hello - thanks so much for your question! In this lesson, Anders is using his fingers to pluck the notes, but you could absolutely use a pick if you'd like! Hope this helps!
