Lesson 4: Filler Licks Between Vocals

Albert King also sang while playing the blues. In between his vocal phrases he had a wealth of great licks that he would play while he wasn't singing. In this example we are going to take a look at two different licks that Albert King might play in this scenario. It is encouraged that you use this idea on your own while playing with a vocalist. Hello - thanks so much for your question! In this lesson, Anders is using his fingers to pluck the notes, but you could absolutely use a pick if you'd like! Hope this helps!
