Description

A chord inversion occurs when you take the notes of a chord and rearrange them. In this case, we'll be moving the E7 chord up the neck of the guitar. It'll still contain the same essential notes, but they'll be played in a higher register.

To make the E7 Inversion, make a chord SHAPE that looks like a standard D7, but place it in the 3rd and 4th frets. Use the open low E string as the bass note.
