I would love to get my hands on that Ultra II! The nanoMag pickup looks like it could add some cool tonal options!

Wow, These are beautiful Gibson/Epiphone guitars and so is Lisa McCormick and her Epiphone guitar at guitartricks.com. Accept no glittery imitations.

I would love to enter for the chance to win the guitars. They look awsome and I bet they play even better.

I have only been playing for 2 1/2 years with Ibanez. My son just recently purchased Epi Les Paul, I gave it a run and I truly enjoyed it more. I would like to have one of my own.
Thanks for the opportunity, Steve

This is incredible. I've been scouring the web looking for more info on either of these guitars. This site impresses me more and more everyday.
I've been contemplating buying the Ultra 2 for some time now. I just can't seem to justify spending that kind of money on myself. I know it doesn't seem like much but you probably don't have seven kids either.
Keep up the good work guys. Let's hope the guitar gods are smiling on me.
Forgot: I agree with the rules.

I've been re-learning to play on a "vintage" Epiphone Texan (had it for 40 years!) and would really like to start working with an electric. I appreciated the discussion about how to get the desired "tone" out of an amp. I'd like to see a review on small amps, small enough to travel with. Thanks for entering me in the drawing. Oseph4

I haven't been a member long, but this website is awesome! The lessons are fantastic and you can pick up any style if you want to take a break from your norm, nice!
I don't know if giving away guitars is the norm here but hey, keep up the good work! :D
Many thanks,
C

Id be curious to see a comparision of the gibson and the epiphone models. Where are the specific differences apart from the name and place of manufacture.

I'd love to enter for a chance to win either of these. I've been eying an LP for a while, but just haven't been able to pull the trigger. And seeing as how I just bought a Taylor accoustic, I need to wait a while before I can justify dumping more money.

I just retired and am trying to learn to play the guitar. I love the blues and have found Guitar Tricks to be very helpful. I have handled the Epiphone Les Paul Standard at the Guitar Center and they feel great. The finish is so smooth and glossy your fret hand moves up and down the neck effortlessly.
Have a good one. Mike

I just recently got back into playing after about 10 years. That was when my has got robbed and they took my Les Paul studio. Anyway, I just got an ESP sc-500 and after having it for a little bit wished I had remembered the way the Les Paul felt and sounded and picked another up. So put me in the drawing so I can re-live the memories.
