There's the link people. Fastest guitar playing my ears have ever heard. Marcus Paus. Won the Guiness Book of World Records for Fastest guitarist before it was discontinued.

That is insane speed, very boring, but faster than I can understand.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

You know.... this guys is REALLY fast
But after a while, you cant really tell if one shredder is faster than another. To tell the truth, I think that Micheal Angelo sounds just like him. There is a plateu that you reach in shredding that once you reach it, there is no point of going faster...

i remember watching angelo's speed kills video and he said..

'i've never seen someone telling a guitarist who go by lightening speed, hey speed sucks! you sucks!'

Yeah 'd say there is a plateu. There is one with everything. Take wieght lifting for example. If a lifter lifts and lifts and lifts, there's gonna be a point where he can longer lift more wieght. At one point the wieght will just be too heavy because his body cannot grow stronger anymore. So it is with guitar.
Practice 8 hours a day and God Bless you.

I know that song sucks, guys.

I was just simply stating that he's fast. Faster than I've ever heard. Faster than Angelo, Lane, Malmsteen, Vai, anyone.

Boring is right, but blazingly fast, yes.
Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

Iv always wanted to hear Marcus Paus cause he is the fastest guitarist. So now I have heard him.

I'd say Rusty Cooley and some of the other guys on Chopsfromhell.com...these guys are sickeningly fast!

Guys check out Michael Angelo Batio....If you think Ywngie's fast...you should hear this guy...he lacks feeling but his speed is amazing and he plays clean too!!!

If your looking for a metal guitarist ..Yngwie is the man no doubt about it ! He started all this neo classical movement .All the others are just wannabes (including myself :D )You should really check out Al Dimeola if you really want to hear some woodshedding .He is without a doubt the fastest (and when I say fastest I mean you actually hear the notes crystal clean , not just alot of fast noise ) guitarist on the planet !! PERIOD !

are you sure its not 80 notes in five seconds or ten?

you do understand that 80 notes per second is uncomprehendable.

that 4800 notes in a minuete... and I highly doubt it
