Loose Approach To String Choice

In this lesson I'll demonstrate one of the greatest thing about this right hand pattern, which is that you can freely change up which strings you use for it, as long as the rhythm and the overall RH approach stays the same.

Up until now we've carefully chosen our 4 strings that we used for the pattern and explored a bunch of different options. The next logical step would be to come up with some patterns with built-in variation. But instead of doing that I'll show you how to take a more loose approach to the string choice.

As long as the rhythm and the basic movement of your right hand stays the same you can spontaneously change up the strings and have it sound very varied and interesting.
