Description
There's also an arpeggiated finger picked pattern used in this song along with the strum we just learned. My thumb will take care of the 3 bass strings, and my fingers will be playing the top 3 strings.
Be sure to get your right hand fingers in a good position for this finger picking; once we're up to speed it goes along pretty fast. Also stay relaxed; you don't want to tighten while you finger pick.
Again, although the bars of 9/8 might seem clunky at first they follow the vocals and have a steady ongoing pulse and lilt to them which makes sense when you hear the vocals.
