Description
Today we'll be checking out two different tones. One is the lead guitar, which is a "spanky" clean tone with some reverb on it. I'll be using my Telecaster on the bridge pickup for some treble "bite". The amp has the bass set at 3, the mids are at 6, and the treble is at 5. The reverb has a longer tail on it, it's a hall or room reverb.
For the rhythm guitar we'll be traveling to the other end of the spectrum and dialing in a dark tone on a hollow body guitar. I'll be playing on the neck pickup for some nice bass "oomph" - but not too much bass. I have amp set to 4 in the bass, the mids also at 4, and the treble at 6. We'll be using roughly the same amount of reverb.
