Description
We've come to the part we're confusion is just running amok in the studio and what's going on here is quite amusing.
All the guys in the band have been listening to the singer up to this point for their cues, but now the guys have to follow the harmonica player for the arrangement. What ends up happening is that everyone is going in different directions; you can almost just see the guys laughing at each other in the studio.
So the easy solution in the studio was to simply let the bass do what it's doing, which is playing a standard blues format and have the harmonica and lead guitar just go where they think they feel like going. Put simply, it was a very loose jam.
That leaves us with the rhythm guitar being just plain confused and gets turned way down in the mix. What we're going to do here is stay solid and follow the bass, because it plays a steady blues progression.
