Description
Almost the entire song features steady 8th note strumming on power chords. Power chords are made up of the root and the 5th of the chord - you usually want to fret the root, 5th, and the octave. This is the most common power chord shape. Notice it's the same shape when the root is on the low E and low A strings, but the shape changes slightly with the root on the D string.
Keep your strumming wide open and powerful. Be sure to use all downstrokes and try to keep your picking steady and consistent to lock right in with the rhythm section.
