Description

In this lesson, we'll learn to use the Four-Step Fingerpicking Pattern with a syncopated rhythm, while switching between two chords. This will also involve switching between two different bass notes.


For the chord A7, you will use the fifth string (A string) played open as the bass note. For the chord D7, you will use the fourth string (D string) played open as the bass note.


In this exercise, we will play two measures of each chord, and then switch to the other chord while maintaining the syncopated rhythm. See if you can play this along with me. Here is the chord progression:
