Acoustic Fingerpicking Step-by-Step, Level 1A
Description
In this lesson, we'll l use the Four-Step Fingerpicking Pattern, while switching between three different chords. This will also involve switching between three different bass notes.
For the chord G, you will use the sixth string (low E string) played at the third fret as the bass note. For the chord C, you will use the fifth string (A string) played at the third fret as the bass note. And for the chord D, you will use the fourth string played (D string). open as the bass note.
In this exercise, we will start with two measures of G, and then two measures of C, two more measures of G, and finally two measures of D, all while maintaining a steady rhythm. See if you can play this along with me, as it's a great way to develop your skills.
