As much as I hate passing people on the right, I'll do it if they're bumbling along. The worst is when you have two cars going the exact same speed and you can't pass at all.

Yeah, You should learn to speak the language of the country you live in and not expect it to cater to you. But I took spanish all through junior high and adv. courses in high school, so i can speak spanish pretty well,so it doesn't bother me.

And to the fact the put brail on the drive throuh ATM's...There's you 1%... :D

I do agree that they need to learn English but **** give people some time. English is said to be the hardest second language to learn. Check the racism at the door gentlemen.

Let's face it... every single show is intended for a mature audience these days.
So just advice us first thing in the morning and leave us the hell alone.

It's not racist, im just saying if you move to a country don't expect everything to be in the language you speak. If I moved to a country id learn to speak it's language. For example, I'm not going to move to france and expect everyone there to speak english. Or move to germany and get ticked off nobody speaks english. And i'm not sure english the hardest. It is hard but learning something like chinese (mandarin or something) where if you change one vowel sound you completely alter the word. and having thousands of characters to memorize seems a little harder to me. And try learning to speak latin! in my school it was mandatory to take it for 3 years, and it was a complete...well i can't say that on the forum. :D

I think what he was getting as was cut people some slack. Things take time. As a person grows older and older it literally becomes harder and harder for them to learn. Becoming fluent in another language is no easy task, let alone one as complex as the English language. It can take the better portion of a decade to become fluent if the person's old enough. Kids, on the other hand are ok though some of the people that were raised into the English language here disgust me. I think they're more of a problem than someone moving to a new country and having a hard time learning the language. There's no excuse for not knowing something that you were raised into.

Long distance recordings that say...
"the number you are dialing is not a long distance call... please try again."

Then the next time you try it says, "please dial the number 'one' before you try your number"

Then you finally get throught and it's the wong stupid number and you get a busy signal.

.... or busy signals that say... "the number you have dialed is no longer in order.....goodbye".

When in Rome...... You wanna move to our country, speak our language, plain and simple. Im not saying you gotta know it as soon as you come here, but give it an honest effort, and dont teach it to your kids. I dont know how many times Ive gone to store and seen people speaking a different and these peoples children speaking the same language. That aint right.

I think everyone in the world should learn English. That's not the point. Harping on one race because of it is a different story. How much does it effect you really if they can't speak English well? Now how bad do you think it effects them that they live here and can't speak English. If the phone says push 1 for English or 2 for Spanish by GOD just push 1. As for the kids I'll strike down ANY person who says I can't pass on my heritage and culture to my kids. That's an awful thing to say. Deprive the kids of culture and turn them into faceless Americans. And people wonder why the world hates this countries foriegn policy so much.

I aint sayin dont keep your own cultures or be proud of your heritage. Hell, Im Italian and we still do our traditions...But, this is still America, and you wouldnt be doing your kids any good by teaching them Spanish or any other language if you intend on staying here.

Enlighten me on what the problem with our foreign policy is.
