Now that we've cracked the basic code on how to play both melodies and rhythm at the same time, let's look at one of the simplest examples of that.

I would normally play this with a metronome, but in order to ensure that you never play this faster than what's comfortable for you, I'm instead going to trust that you'll practice it on your own- at whichever tempo feels comfortable for you. As always it's very important that your wrist, your arm and your shoulder feel relaxed while you do this. If that is not the case you just have to slow down.
