Travis Picking Practice Tune
Now that we've explored the most basic version of a Travis picking pattern, let's use it in a simple practice tune.
I hope this tutorial has given you a good first handle on the basic Travis picking. I know it's quite a bit to take in at first, but if you just remember to be patient and simply put the different components together one after another, it'll start to make sense sooner than later. Just make sure you're not developing any bad straining habits in this process. If you're tensing up while learning this technique, you'll have to start all over again and it'll be even harder to get it right the 2nd time.
So take your time and be very mindful of how your right hand feels while you're working on this great technique. Have fun with it!
