Description
An electric guitar equipped with a floating whammy bar, preferably a Floyd Rose or Kahler, and humbucker pickups is required to perform this song. For the keyboard arranged for guitar in the Intro, Verses, and Outro-Verse use an amp dialed to a clean tone.
Regarding the EQ for guitar 1, set the bass to about 10 o'clock, mid about 12 noon, and treble at 2 o'clock. For rhythm guitars 2 and 3 use the same general EQ settings as guitar 1, but add a bit of distortion to get a crunchy tone - about 12 noon. Guitar 4 handles the solo and should have the distortion set to about 2 o'clock to give more sustain. Try adding a touch of delay to give the solo a big sound. Use the same EQ as guitar 2 and 3, but boost the mid to about 2 o'clock.
Use these settings as a general guide on whatever gear you have and feel free to experiment.
