Description

Now let's use all of our Tic Toc barre chord patterns in another practice tune. This practice tune is a lot faster, but just focus on the drums and think of yourself as a rhythm instrument, and you'll be fine.

It's really great for any guitar player to try considering yourself a rhythm instrument. Of course we're still playing notes, melodies and chords, but if you come at it all thinking of yourself as a rhythm instrument, everything you do will end up sounding better. Making the band's rhythm steady and groovy is not only the drummer's job; it's everyone's! And the sooner you realize how to do your part as a guitar player, the sooner you'll become a valuable asset to any band or playing situation. Have fun with it!
