Description
In this tutorial we're going to explore one of the most quintessential electric country rhythm tools. This tool is a rhythmic and percussive approach often referred to as "Tic Toc" guitar parts- and I'm sure you'll recognize the sound of it! It's basically taking the root 5 barre chord part that we used in the previous tutorial, and stripping it down to the absolute minimum number of notes. Remember that the electric guitar is more of a rhythm instrument in this context. On top of adding to the rhythmic drive you also help strengthen the 1/5 movement in the bass. The bass would often not be heard very well on old radios, so adding an electric guitar doubling this 1/5 melody would help with that.
