The term "rock" covers so many different sounds and styles that it can be confusing at times! In this chapter we're going to explore where rock music came from, as well as some of the places people have taken it over the years.
In this first tutorial we'll explore the origins, and that all starts with the blues. Because the blues was what inspired classic 50s artists like Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Little Richard, Elvis and many more to create the sound we today identify as early rock 'n' roll. In this tutorial we'll explore this sound in some fun and rockin' examples. Let's get started!
