Description
After the rhythm section kicks off the groove of the tune, guitar 1 appears with the main riff of the song. The riff is based off the G note at the 3rd fret of the low E string, and starts with an anticipation (on the and-of-4) that features a quick hammer-on to the A note at the 5th fret. This is a very sparse and effective way to slowly build the tune.
The second half moves up to the 5th position and plays off some double stops. No need to get aggressive with your picking here, just feel the vibe and start off relaxed with a lower dynamic, giving the arrangement somewhere to build.
