For the fourth, fifth and sixth variations we'll move up an octave to play the melody higher.

The fourth variation is simply the melody up an octave, but add a hammer-on note for variety.

The fifth variation adds a lot of detail. This one is also closely modelled after one in the original Pachelbel piece. The addition of 1/8th notes and lots of scale runs makes for an excellent challenge!

The sixth variation is similiar to the fifth, but adds a bend for expression and variety.

These variation are a good example of why practicing scales is beneficial. Stated another way, these variations are a good example of how to use scale patterns in a musical way.
