Description

This lesson is going to look at the 1st pre-chorus tag as well as the 3rd pre-chorus tag.

The 1st pre-chorus tag is an 8 bar phrase of straight 16th note chords that leads us into the 2nd verse while the 3rd pre-chorus tag is a 4 bar phrase that leads us into the 2nd interlude.

To play these sections, you'll need to use a heavy pick attack as well as a good amount of controlled aggression.

The melody lines over these sections are played by the keyboard so your only goal is to plow through the chord changes cleanly and in time.

The 1st progression is: E5, D5/A, A/C#, C5, E5, F#5, C#b5, C5, F5, Fb5.

The 2nd progression is: E5, F#5, C#b5, C5, and includes a single note line leading us into the interlude.
