Description

There are two guitar parts in this section of the song. In this lesson we're going to focus on the distorted guitar which plays power chords under the arpeggiated clean guitar.

The pre-chorus is a 4 bar phrase that repeats twice for a total of 8 bars. This progression is played through the 1st and 3rd pre-choruses.

The electric guitar plays basic power chords and sus chords through this section. The chords used are E5, C5/G, C#sus2/G#, G5, and B5.

This progression is also used under the guitar solo.
