A big part of Andy Summers' guitar sound is the sound of what I call the "power 9 chords". That's just a power chord with an added 9, and in this lesson I'm gonna show you how he uses these power 9 chords to play the main riff of this song.
These chords are essentially stacked 5ths. You don't play the 3rd of the chord.
