Description
After the first and second verses there's a cross-rhythmic phrase for transition. It implies a three feel in 4/4 time which creates tension and nicely sets up the next section.
After the first verse the phrase is played once; half over the 4 chord and half over the 5 chord. After the second verse the phrase is played twice; once over the 4 chord and once over the 5 chord. After the third verse substitute the cross rhythm for a quarter note build over the 4 and 5 chord and add an extra measure for tension and release into the last instrumental section.
