The rack. Stock ADA MP-1, Quadraverb and the BBE Sonic Maximizer make up the meat of it. Got a Dunlop Jimi Hendrix wah and a Rolls Midi Buddy on the floor. Lee Jackson 4x12 cab. I love the way this stuff sounds.

BTW, great site you guys have here. Glad I found it.

oh heck, I might as well

Guitars:
Gibson SG special faded
Ibanez GRX40

Amps:
Line 6 spider II 30
possibly one of those new peavey valvekings in the future

Effects:
Korg Toneworks AX10G multi-effects
Boss OD-20
Boss PW-2
Dunlop GCB-95 crybaby, which I am considering sending back to musicians friend cause it sucks

Misc.
1 George L 15 ft. cable
1 Horizon 10 ft. cable
1 Horizon 6 in. cable
a metronome
korg tuner
fender medium picks
a glass slide

and that's about it... perhaps not as impressive as some of your lists... but it keeps me happy

i have a ibanex ex 370, and a laney gc30 amp and a washburn d-10 acustic. nothing special

I absolutely love it... I can walk into a place with it, and suddenly all eyes are on me cause I've got a cool guitar, not to mention all the comments I've gotten from other guitar players on how nice my guitar is. it feels nice and sounds even better. I don't like the stock bridge pickup, other then that, it's sooo sweet! very versatile too. I see they seem to have gone up in price recently though... I got mine for $650 in the middle of august. now they go for like $690 on musicians friend, and $720 on music123. so, I guess this is one guitar that is going to be going up in value! so, it's like an investment too! lol

You gotta upload them to another site like photobucket.com and then you can link to them by using the url you get from photobucket and pasting it in the insert image tool.
I am a constant evolving music machine. Oh Man, I just forgot what I was playing. Oh well, on to the next song.

i like to think that the clean is drastically louder than the dist. channel(it hurts ears at 6 on clean)
true, i believe this is so the clean does not break up as quickly. i like to turn the od channel gain all the way down and crank the volume level, then bring up the gain for my volume, classic rock tube heaven.

Funny old thing hobbies. I am also an avid gamer and the forum I use for that is so similar to this it's scary. Just change the names and it could be the same place :) Fender and Gibson become Xbox and PS2! The forum I use (ntsc-uk.com) even has threads on "gear". And you really wouldn't believe the similarity in financial huberance. I'm sure if I ever take up cross-stitch (please smother me slowly in my sleep if I do) the forums will echo this!

Anyway, hello, first time posting here although have been a member for a couple of months. Like to say thanks to the contibutors for their, umm, contributions.

Gear? I own a (just under twelve months) US Strat, a (rather cheap but wife won't buy me a Cornford) Fender amp (one of those ones with effects built in), a Tech 21 Double Drive, MXR Phase 90, Dunlop "tone sucker" Wah and, wrapped up as this year's Christmas gift, Trex Replica (woo and indeed hoo!).

I hadn't played for 10 years and had really missed it being part of my life. But now, at 34, I'm playing again. Like all the usual stuff that guitarists have to by law and also a lot of other stuff that gets me funny looks (you just gotta groove to that new Madonna song. Anything with an Abba riff is just gonna be tuneful!). I'm English by the way, but I won't let it get in the way of trying to understand the Americanisms abundant in the forum ;)

Anyway (say that a lot for some reason. And it bugs me too. As does writing in brackets) hello again. And, err, Rock On I suppose ;)

hey! we "americanisms" ain't that bad at ours talkins. we can damned talked as good as any brit who'd done ever cross our path.

Lol, ok, I'm kidding. But why does the rest of the world look down on americans so much? Like we are all fat and lazy. And like we're the scum of the earth. Like we cannot speak in proper English. It pisses me off sometimes.

Welcome to the boards by the way. :p

If you want people who cant speak English well, look no further than England.

There is a difference between "me" and "my" people...and Innit isn't a real word!

don't have much gear but works for me!

as for guitars i have dean hardtail select w/ quilt maple top set neck
quality is right up there w/ that prs guy as well as the tone

dean performer fm cutaway electric acoustic tone is awesome! electronics are top notch as well

as far as amps i have 1 lonely benringer vampire half stack that screams! took a little tweaking to get it set up though but for the money blows away alot of other brand names for not even half the price!

was recently used at a benefit concert and held up to even the most abusive bands of the night total of 7 in all!
