Not bad Q12321. Whats the jackson like ? cuz i think its the same model as i was going to buy !

By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

Oh, it's great. There are no other words to explain it really. I love it. It sounds good clean, sounds good distorted. I wish the Turbocharger had like, an on/off switch or something. Just make sure you get the Black Forest finish, it looks the best.

guitars:- epiphone SG custom, maverick F2, tanglewood barreta jetstream (hence the very old name), tanglewood acoustic (can't remember make), tanglewood 12-string

amps:- crate GX-212 best amp i've ever played. wipes the floor with the peavys and marshalls my friends have got (no offence)

other stuff:- boss delay, reverb, overdrive, distortion and me-33, morley wah, danelectro chorus and flanger

i got quite a bit, but none of it is hugely expensive... the joys of being a student

ok - added a few things with the holiday and all =)

So the original list was a

Fender Mex Fat strat - now with Fender locking tuners
restrung with .10 gauge Ernie ball

Takamine GS33S Acoustic with .10 D'Addario EXL's (very nice strings btw)

A VOX AT60VT - This is the valvetronix modeling rig... killer.
Korg Toneworks PX4
Fender Princeton 60 - don't own it but "borrowed" it for about 2 years now so I'll add it because I use it! =)

aiwass, not only are the people at the Line6 factory trippin about the presets they are also schitzo about how they give them to you. See you have banks and each bank has 4 sounds. You can only use one bank at a time so logically its set up something like this:

1:clean
2:clean boost
3:dirty
4:dirty lead

alright makes since but its sent to you with pre set banks like:

1:death metal distortion
2:somehting with an near infinite repeting delay
3:some other random guitar sound
4:jazz chorus

its like they were pulled out of a hat or something
Have you noticed that the best songs always seem be the most simple take, the classic song, "batman"... I mean its just Batman and Na...

I got too much stuff to mention. But it consists of mostly old Kramer guitars: Barettas, Pacer Carreras, Nightswans, Samboras, a musicyo Striker. I got some San Dimas era Charvels and Jacksons. Some rare JEMS (a mean greenie which only 777 were made and it is DEAD mint with the tags still on it is one of them), an old school RG550, A custom Wolfy archtop, and I am still adding. I recently also added a homebuilt Marshall Plexi head that I named MARSHmALLow, and some homebuilt effects, and a digitech RP200 effects pedal which I run into my computer...

update: I added a Nikki Sixx Gibson Blackbird model bass this morning. I went in to buy strings... That was one expensive set of strings LOL.

1961 Gibson SG reissue (my main everyday noisemaker, w/ the '57 LP humbuckers)

1972 D'agostino Benchmark (the holy grail)
solid neck through body
http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data4/D-Agostino/Benchmark-01.html

93-ish Ibanez RG570 (what i learned on and played for 9 years. also the reason i hate, will never purchase, will never play another ibanez ever in my life, when you have one for that long you realize how cheap of a guitar ibanez makes. i keep it for sentimental value only)

70's Yamaha classical nylon strings

Boss DM-2 analog delay (vintage)
Digitech RP300a pedal processor (for fun with headphones in my tiny studio, other than that the only thing digital i own)
Peavey Bandit 112 Sheffield -early 90's (not transitube)
Vintage Gibson strings (10's)
dunlop tortex px

Yess! :) The reviews on HC read very much like the ones posted for my 'Brand X'(1984 Yamaha SBG1000). The comments about reactions to having it stolen seem very similar to mine: "If it ever gets stolen, I will look to pry it from the thief's trembling fingers as he dies."

I have since acquired another one, which has been treated to a DiMarzio PAF Pro at the neck, and a DiMarzio Tone Zone at the bridge, again with Series/Parallel and Phase switching. :D

Gibson makes ridiculously over-priced versions of these. I'm much too busy enjoying my guitars to decide whether I should feel contempt or pity for those who get sucked into buying 'Gypsons'.
