Someday I`ll play like in my dreams.

Here you can see the tones that make this type of chord:
A major scale=A-B-C#-D-E-F#-G#-A-B-Amaj7(#9)=ā€¦.1.ā€¦..3.ā€¦ā€¦.5...ā€¦..7ā€¦ā€¦......#9

So, it is not a flatted 3rd nor an aug2. It is an aug9.
And here is an easy fingering for that chord.

E----------0-----------
B----------X-----------
G----------5-----------
D----------6-------------
A----------4---------------
E----------5-----------------

Other names for that chord can be:
Amaj7#9
Amaj7+9
Amaj7(aug9)

It cant be a dominate 7th because the 7th in his chord is major and in dominate 7 its minor.
Bass guitar is the answer to everything

It's a polychord, A polychord being two chords stacked together to create a unigue new chord. Generally used in larger ensembles.

Here's the notes.

A, C#, E, G#, B#.

You got C#m/maj7 in there: C#, E, G#, B#.

...and

an A major chord: A C# and E.

Polychord: C#m/maj7/A.

That's just one example, the important thing would be how this chord would be voiced.
"My whole life is a dark room...ONE BIG DARK ROOM" - a.f.i.

I never said it was a Dominant 7 chord.
What I said was...it can function as V7.

And if you read this again:

Amaj7#9
Amaj7+9
Amaj7(aug9)

you can see that I am referring to that chord as a Major 7, and not a dominant 7.
So please, learn a little about reharmonization and chord functionality, before trying to correct me.

It seems to be ok, for other members to say anything, but when I say something, then I am being hostile.

I`m not gonna mention any names, but here are some quotes:

A-C-D-E-G
1st 3rd 4th 5th 7th

It has no half steps.

Don't correct my theory unless you're right.

This is like talking to a horse with blinders on. Open up your mind and stop being so ANAL!

Just chill out, come down from your high horse of supirior music theory knowledge, and let the guy make a reply to elaborate on his question. With all this "no, you're wrong, and I'm right" talk, who the hell would want to reply to you? If I were a beginner, or just new to this site, I would probably just ignore you with your cocky attitude.

I am not saying anything disrespectfully and yet, it is a big deal for some people.

That statement right there comes off as having a bad/cocky/arrogant attitude. You might not have meant it that way, but in plain text like it is here, that how most people would take it, especially the person you were talking to. The way I've seen it, the only time anybody has ever called you out on anything has been when you've deserved it, because of statements like the above. If you're going to continue to have an arrogant attitude, then I suggest you be prepared for other members to call you on it.

I promise I'm not trying to be an ass in any way. All I'm saying is, try to think about how the other person will take what you're saying before you actually say it. We have people here who don't speak very good English, so it's very easy for them to take things the wrong way. We also have very young members who might not be mature enough to shrug a comment like that off. So, just think about what you're saying, and how the other person might take it.

You are right. I did not mean it in an offensive way.
And yes, I am one of those persons, who do not speak good English, and maybe that is why it sounds arrogant the way I write, and respond to people.
But you cannot accuse me of using bad words against anybody.
I could argue about why you guys are taking things personal, but it is not worth it.
So, I`m just gonna let it go.
