Ok then, back on track...my original question/statment was why the dude from korn quit and altered his life in such a drastic way.

I understand if he felt a conviction by living in deep sin,but if things were fine then there was no need for him to "fix what wasn't broken".Salvation is a personal matter and most likley he has been suckerd in by a charasmatic/orthodox movment that flaunts it and makes a mockery of my God.

The best example of a rock 'n roll dude to christian convert is-Dave Mustaine...he didn't abandon his life.I'm not sure what exact doctrine he follows...I'm gonna say this though...if you desire to be saved and pursue Christ with your heart, then he will not leave you hanging. Many feel if you don't attend church and tithe yourself broke, then you arn't saved...nonsense!

he ain't just some guy who left some band, and this ''dude'' that left the band was a huge inspiration to me. and koRn also had a major role in nu metal/alternative rock music(they created it). and they inspired a lot of bands, too...

Head made a wise decision, I respect his choices in life, he left the band for the sake of his daughter. Anyway, the vocalist in koRn (jonathan) hates organized religion, so if head where to stay in the band, he or jonathan would've left the band anyway.

Maybe this might clear things out a bit:

While I agree with a lot of what you're saying, Korn absolutely did not create what is known as "alternative" music.

Helped, sure, but others were doing it before them.

I'm not saying they created alternative music, they created ''nu metal'' but I donĀ“t fully agree on that either, it's just that people started putting koRn into genres, genres they don't even have anything to do with, for example, they're called; ''rap metal, hip hop influenced rock (well thats kinda true) and so on... I just call them for alternative rock, thats it

Yeah, but it's a misnomer. For an example of alt. rock, check out R.E.M.

I'm obsessed with it. It's just an easy way to identify what the music basically sounds like before listening.

Yep,hes been snapped up by the 'flock' alright...geez,I have depression, but its not a result of lacking a dedicated corporate allegiance.

He will be chasing the dollar one way or the other...whatever helps him sleep at night.Who knows...mabey he can be the next big charlatan or a slave for one.

mabey benny hinn needs a guitarist while he talks to dead saints and 'heals' people(takes their money)...

hmm, I thought the reason he became a christian was because he was heavily addicted to a drug, and he was trying to stop for the sake of his daughter, but found that he couldn't stop, so he called out to God to help him to stop, and by a miracle was able to stop, so then he became a christian after that... that's what I got out of the last minute of an interview I saw of him on MTV...

Ha, I can see it now. Benny's running around pushing people down in the name of Jesus, and Head's playing a delightful rendition of "This Little Light of Mine" for the crowd.

Who wouldn't want to watch that??
