Linkin park...i dont care much for them or these other new bands because they're unoriginal....bands today cant play decent live shows because they're all lip synchin or sumthin.....i wouldn't say complex songs...doesn't seem like there is much thought or effort put into those songs.

yo, have u listened to a whole linkin park album? they are extremely original compared to lots of pathetic rock bands that are out today. i love linkin park sooo much, they are the first and only band out there that can bring hiphop/rap with rock and make it sound crazy good. and the lead singer chester bennington is such an amazing song writer, i would give anyhting to be able to write a song with him

Lets take techno metal and rap, and mix it all into one style and see how it sounds. This must be an unoriginal idea. I'm going to have to say that linkin park is the only original sounding mainstream band since 311. Please name a good original sounding band right now. I'd love to hear them.
Breaking the Habit is a very complex song compared to most rock songs. Its not classical music man, but they definately know what they are doing. I read a quote that they worte 40 different choruses for one song until they found the right one. That sounds like effort to me.
