the clash - tommy gun
queen - crazy little thing called love

A good friend of mine lives there, so it was a chance to hang out with her for a day or so and a handy resting point on my way back to Vermont.
Unlike my move to Louisiana, I decided that driving 32 hours straight wasn't the best way to go about things.

Yeah, 32 hours straight through is never a good idea.
Chicago is an ok place, I didn't visit directly inside Chicago but was a few minutes out. Nothing special, plus no Jack-in-the-Box. I can't live without JintheB. So you're living in Vermont these days? How's Vermont?

A "Flat Lander" is anybody who comes from "down country."
"Down country" = anyplace South of Rutland, VT.

Nah, we got just enough to be a pain in the ass.
Enough so that you have to go clean it up, not enough that you feel like you've accomplished something.

We haven't got a big enough snow here in the midwest. Just like 1-3" dropplings here and there.
I want a giant snow storm. 12" plus.
