I hope you've had as much fun as I have with these classic guitar parts. It's once again proof that you can something really cool out of some very basic building blocks. Really all that's being used here is one basic barre-chord voicing and 3 notes of the major scale, and yet the result is so classic that we're still sitting here studying this song after all these years.
If you ever want to play this song with just one guitar part, you simply play the main rhythm guitar part. The other part is fun, but absolutely not crucial to the song.
