Description
Now that we've explored the basic mechanics behind fingerpicking, let's piece together your first finger picking pattern.
For the sake of convenience we won't actually hold down a chord in our right hand. Instead we'll keep our pattern to the low E-string (played with your thumb), and the top 3 strings, with a dedicated finger to each of them. Those strings form an E minor chord without any fretted notes, so that's where we'll start.
