Description

In this lesson we'll explore a more advanced version of the dominant 7 chord that you learned in the previous lesson. This sound is used the same way, but it has a slightly more gospel style sound that can be really cool to throw in once in a while.

This is basically gonna be exploring a more advanced version of the dominant 7 chord. In the previous lesson we just added that one note, and you saw how much tension and movement that can create. We used that tension to lead between a V-chord and a I-chord.

In the key of C, our V-chord is G, and the dominant 7 version would add even more tension leading back to I. Now the trick that I'm gonna show you is to use your IV-chord and still have the root note of the V-chord in the bass!
