Description

In Classic Country music you mostly hear the cleaner electric guitars. They'll be super bright and aggressive, but rarely do you hear the heavily distorted guitar sounds. That happens much more in Country Rock and country blues.

In any case, it can be nice to know how to experiment with this sound, so you can use it if it fits the context. You can get overdrive from cranking up the amp until the tubes naturally start distorting. But that also makes it extremely loud, and in most situations that's not fitting. For example, if I did it right now you wouldn't be able to hear what I was saying. So in this lesson I'll show you a common trick that you can use to get the overdrive without having to blow your ears out.
