Description
For this tutorial I'll be using the Les Paul and I'll be running it through a modeled Mesa Boogie amp. I have the gain on the amp way up and the master volume low, so that I get a lot of hi-gain distortion.
You could use these techniques with a clean tone as well, but they definitely work best with more of a hi-gain sound like the one I'll be using today. Other than that I just have a little bit of reverb in there, and I'll be using the bridge pickup.
