More Scale Patterns

So far we've looked at one octave of the major and minor scale. But that's really all there is! You can play the exact same note in multiple places on the guitar, and apart from that there are different octaves you can play them in - meaning some lower and some higher versions of the same basic note.

So when you see people flying all over the fretboard, chances are they're using the same 8 notes as we did in this tutorial; in this lesson I'll demonstrate this.
