Description

I'll be using a Les Paul for these lessons, which will give me that fat and huge tone this guitar is famous for. But you can play rock solos on any guitar; this is just one particular flavor.

One thing that people really like about the Les Paul is it's "sustain" - meaning how long the notes ring out. This has to do with how it's built, but it's super useful for rock soloing since you can hold notes out much longer than on other guitars. But you also lose certain elements like the bright, sparkly high-end of the Fender instruments.
