Earlier we talked about how you can identify which subdivision a drum groove is based on from listening to the hi-hat in correlation with the kick and snare. Whichever subdivision you find when you listen to the drums is the one on which you want to base the majority of your rhythm guitar part. But now we'll explore what it sounds like when you use a faster subdivision as a fill.
