Description

Now let's break down and play through a practice tune that puts all these new techniques into a bigger musical context, so you can get a feel for how they work. We'll break down one section at a time and practice each of them slowly with the metronome. Then once you're comfortable with each of the sections, we'll put them all together and play through the whole practice tune with the backing track.

I hope you've gotten pretty comfortable with the arpeggiation technique from this tutorial. If you're still not quite there yet, make sure to spend some extra time on it, because some variation of this basic technique and concept is used in most rock songs. You can use the metronome to work on any issues, get the examples up to speed and have another classic rock guitar tool under your belt.
