Description
Now it's time to take a look at another common way to use arpeggiation in rock. This includes a new type of rhythmic feel, where instead of counting to 4 for each bar, you now count to 3 which has more of that "waltz" feel. There are many different ways to refer to this groove, such as 3/4, 6/8, or 12/8, but that's not important right now - the important thing is that we now count to 3 instead of 2 or 4.
