Anyone knows how to install a Fender LaceSensor?

I'm trying to put this pickup into my Squire Strat and it has three wires. The instructions do not even mention this third wire and I find the pickup is more noisy than I'd like. Is there anything top be done with this third green wire? The ground is orange and the otyher is white.

That green wire is also a ground connection.

Would I connect this ground wire in the same location as the other? Why are there two? What are the reprecussions of not using this second ground?

If you had bothered to use the search icon at the top of the page, you would have found this old thread that you started, on 9/05/2002!
I get annoyed when someone asks a question that someone else has already gotten the answer for. When somebody can't even remember their own question & answer, I just shake my head, and walk away, muttering...

LOL @ Lorda... yes, the members occasionally baffle and frustrate us, but we must endure it - 'tis the very purpose of the forum...
The-not-so-great-at-searching-Kris:
There are two ground locations in the guitar - one that is located on the output jack, and one on the body (generally it's grounded to the bridge).
Check out this diagram on the link that was given to you the last time you asked this question:

See how one ground goes to the jack and one goes to the bridge? That's why it's buzzing, since the pickup isn't truly grounded.

... and that's all I have to say about that.

Who cares? Just do it. If it works, smile and be happy. If not, look at the diagram again.

What if I use the orange as the ground and the white as pos and leav out the green? I heard this was supposed to help with noise but that claim has never been substantiated.

I have a question... why not just attach the frickin ground wire to the bridge like it says in the instruction manual? Why are you trying to overcomplicate things? It says attach the green wire to the bridge, not think of other things you can do with the green wire.
Your pickup buzzes, if you finish grounding the pickup, it won't. It's that simple.
