I have a question... why not just attach the frickin ground wire to the bridge like it says in the instruction manual? Why are you trying to overcomplicate things? It says attach the green wire to the bridge, not think of other things you can do with the green wire.

Your pickup buzzes, if you finish grounding the pickup, it won't. It's that simple.
