I'm not at home at the momement so i cant put any pics up but i will later if someone tells me how to. I was thinking you could all put pics up of yourself with your guitar and other equipment behind you ?
By virtue of their electrical properties, tubes generate a special waveform when they're saturated, which is why tube engineering has tremendous tonal advantages over solid state or DSP solutions, particularly for crunch and lead sounds. Tubes enter the saturation zone gradually or softly, which lends tube-driven tone its trademark yet totally unique character.

... you'd probably grind this thread to a halt for everybody with dialup like me. Pics are cool, but provide a link to where we can see them instead of embedding them directly in the forum post. (it's hard enough when people keep using animated gifs as sigs)

OK you need to get your pics up on the web (sorry we cant provide web space for pics or songs, we are allready all out of bandwidth with the tricks part of the site).

Then use the img command to place them in the thread

That's exactly what takes so long to load...which is why I said if you want to post a picture, supply a link to a seperate window so that those who want to see them can do so.
If you embed pics in a forum thread like you just did, people like me with dialup and older computers have to wait forever for the image to load.
ie, I just opened this thread to look at the reply and had to patiently wait while your picture took it's sweet time coming up on the screen. Multiply that by half a dozen people posting large pic files and just opening this thread would take 10 minutes. Which means the only way I can read the rest of the messages is to go to the prefs on my browser, and select 'do not load images', just so I can finish reading the thread.

Which means everyone else has to suffer on account of your slow internet conection.

I don't think so.

Why not tell your browser not to load images.

Yeah, go and get a faster connection or something

I'm not complaining about people posting pic up on the forum, but I am going to complain about the "go get a faster connection" thing. I can't get a faster connection, because I live up in the Blue Ridge freaking mountains where DSL is a thing we have on witnessed on television. Anyways... adios!

You must be a strat player.. you seen one, you've seen them all...

So. If you throw a cat out of a car window, is it considered "kitty litter"?

Why cant you read the forum when the pictures dont load? the text loads first., so you CAN read it. when you dont care about the pics, then why do you wait for them to load? plus my actual pic has 3.8 KB - so stop bitchin

Okay...this pics about 4yrs old, but since I don't have the capabilities to download pictures this will have to do. My hairs a little shorter now, but I still have the 7 string.

BTW, just to clear up any confusion that might exist among non-avid Pink Floyd fans, the caption on the picture I linked to is correct.

I was just playin', y'all.
