Hey, just wondering if anyone out there met any big rockstars or something? I'm just interested in hearing stuff like that.
I met Pat Pentland and Chris Murphy from Sloan one time, got my guitar autographed and they played "If It Feels Good Do It"
with the band I was with. (Its a high school rock band, they were there to present a grant)
And God said, 'Let there be rock!'
-And it was good

wow that's cool, I like sloan, a friend of mine introduced me to them about 6 months ago and I've been addicted ever since
Personally I've not met too many famous people, easily the most famous were slipknot, my ex girlfriend and I went to see them in early 2000, and we hung outside the venue, and they got off the tourbus for photos and autographs and I hijacked mick and talked guitars with him for over 4 hours, I got a pic of him with his finger up my ex-girlfriend's nose, and he recorded her voicemail on her cellphone too!
I met Peter from polish death metal band Vader after a gig a few years back, and I got to play onstage with Life Of Agony, my old punk band supported them when they played my home town, and they liked us so much they asked me to play Weeds with them! it was killer
Also, I sent Mikael Akerfeldt (of opeth and bloodbath) an email and he replied which was kind of cool as he is my muse!
I also Hugged lou, pete and armand of sick of it all when they played here a few years ago, I've got the pick that pete used, it has the scuff marks down one side, and a cool back alley crew dragon on it, which I'm planning on getting tattooed in a couple of places on my body!
guns dont kill people, people kill people, and monkeys do too (if they've got a gun)

I met Dream Theater and Pain Of Salvation guys (just said yeah and they gave me thumb up) in Stockholm this year, than I met Kee Marcelo (Europe guitar player) and Dregen (guitar palyer in a Swedish band called Backyard Babies). I changed some words both with Dregen and Kee.

I also asked Nicke Andersson (guitarplayer/singer in Hellacopters) if I could get his cap, but he rejected.

But the person I really would like to exchange some words and perhaps little more than just words is Briana Banks. Arrrrghhhh!!!

jeez Azrael, you met just about everybody from my favorite bands. i haven't met anybody, but i did send Timo Tolkki from Srtatovarius and email, although he hasn't written me yet. I just got really into Rhapsody, Gamma Ray, and Helloween and i really like them. the all really good. Luca Turelli is a pretty good guitarist.
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

i met jenna jameson, no joke, twice. both of them were in my hotel/casino that i was staying in, when i went to las vegas. i heard she lived there, so that would explain it. me and my buddies stayed at the bellagio, and i went down to one of the zillions of bars, with my fake i.d to have a brewsky. then she sat a couple seats down from me, and so i figured since i had nothing to lose, i went and talked to her. we chatted for a bit, then i got a smile and a hug, and she left. i saw her again two days later as she was leaving, and i received the same as last time. absolutely the greatest two moments of my life. this is not a lie.
oh, also i once met the the guy in the I AM CANADIAN commercials.

ten years from now, you guys can all say you've talked to me online.

Actually I've met quite a few famous people. Lets see...

I've met the members of Tea Party, Green Day, Econoline Crush, Offspring (twice), Biff Naked and Moist on several occasions (a girlfriend of mine used to run the fan club for Bif Naked and we got back stage and at quite a few concerts and festivals, which also explains how I have met the majority of these bands), Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti of Creed, 3 members of Collective Soul, Age of Electric (a Canadian band that broke up a few years back).

On more well known bands, I have met Jon, Head and Fieldy of Korn at a downtown mall in Calgary AB the day of their concert here a couple years back, 3 members of Coal Chamber minus Rayna who missed the concert due to pregnancy, 2 members of Slipknot (no clue what their names are, Slipknot was one of the opening acts for Coal Chamber), and some of the coolest people I have ever met, Trent Reznor of NIN, and Marylin and Twiggy from Manson about 5 years back in Vancouver. My friends sister won back stage passes off a radio station there and she couldn't take the time off to drive to Vancouver so we got em. I'm sure there are more, I've been to dozens of concerts all over North America so there's bound to be more.

Catch yas later!!
