Storing guitar on a stand

is ok to leave my guitar stored on a Hercules stand I play each day in the evening after work also weekends however as fairly new was not clear if leaving it would damage the guitar. Leaving it on the stand makes it more likely pick it up and practice.

I love floor stands...I have three of a different style and brand.
But I take extra care of my guitars and have never considered storing 'em on the stands ...or leaving them for more than half-hour or so. Even then, accidents can happen...kids can knock 'em over as can pets or a slip with the vacuum cleaner. Sometimes the guitars themselves try to slip off (user error). Then there's dirt and dust and other environmental issues.
That a guitar is in its case has never deterred me from playing although I've read on GT that some think a guitar sitting out in the open begs to be picked up. :) Admittedly, I don't do spur of the moment playing as my practice hours are all scheduled. Except for short breaks, when the guitars are out of my hands they are in their cases and away from cold/hot drafts and direct sunlight.
But there are many here that disagree with all that...maybe most. :D
Leaving guitars out should not damage them assuming they are more or less shielded from harsh environment. But beware of accidents and take extra care to keep 'em clean.

My Tele is out on a stand.. even after it's taken a couple of face dives..
My Alvarez A/E on the other hand stay in it's case.. I usually play it outside weather permitting...
What's right for you is what is important..

There should be no problem with leaving the guitar in the stand, but one thing to keep an eye on is, on some stands the rubber can cause discoloration of the guitar finish when left for long periods of time. A piece of cloth where the guitar touches the stand will prevent this.

I have three guitar holders mounted on my wall. This is the way our Music Store keeps them, so I figured it would be okay. I haven't had any problems with the hangers damaging my guitars. If, however, there is a huge temperature or humidity shift in your house it may be better to store your guitars in their case. But that's just something I heard could damage a guitar, so I've followed it when necessary!

I have been using the Hercules stand on 4 of my guitars for years and had no issues. Just adjust them to sit high enough that vacuum will not hit them.
If you have kids in house or humidity issues (most do) yes I would store in case. I recommend buying a humidity gauge to put next to any wood instruments. Buy humidifier or dehumidifier if needed. I had to buy both.
