I have three guitar holders mounted on my wall. This is the way our Music Store keeps them, so I figured it would be okay. I haven't had any problems with the hangers damaging my guitars. If, however, there is a huge temperature or humidity shift in your house it may be better to store your guitars in their case. But that's just something I heard could damage a guitar, so I've followed it when necessary!
