This is just awful. I've been watching the news coverage all day. I know a few people there, and they're (from what I know so far) ok. Thank God.

I'm proud to say that I went to VT and am absolutely horrified but today's events. Although it can happen anywhere at any time, it's beyond comprehension to me that it happened there. For anyone who's not visited Southwest VA and specifically Blacksburg, it's one of the most tranquil, peaceful places I've ever been. My thoughts are with everyone in Blacksburg.

Its pretty hard to grasp that 32 people could be murdered in just a short period of time by one guy.... Scary thing is, this could happen anywhere to anyone. I know for a fact it would be easy to do at my college. Kind of puts things into perspective...Don't waste time people, live while you're alive.
